Your spirit is perfected the moment you receive Christ, but the renovation of your soul—your mind, will, and emotions—as well as your body, takes time. As you grasp who you are in Christ, the life of God within you starts to flow outward, changing everything.

- Surrender Your Life to Jesus. Romans 12:1 says, “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice.” This means making a conscious choice to put God’s will above your own desires. Daily surrender is essential.
- Renew Your Mind. Consistently replace worldly thinking and lies with God’s truth. The more you align your thoughts with His Word, the more your soul matches the perfection of your spirit.
- See Yourself as God Sees You. Realize your born-again spirit is already righteous and holy like Jesus. Avoid letting past failures or feelings define your identity—let God’s mirror show you your true self.
- Seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This empowers your spiritual growth, giving you the anointing and supernatural strength needed to live out the Christian life. Allow the life of God in your spirit to flow into your soul and body.
The Process of Change
Transformation begins automatically as you plant the seed of God’s Word in your heart. But that seed will only flourish in a renewed mind. As you let God’s truth take root, you’ll see fruit in your actions, attitudes, and relationships.
